Join us on December 3rd for GAgives on #GivingTuesday, a global day of generosity! GAIN has set a goal of raising $25,000 to expand our new Client Care Program, enabling us to provide vital support to immigrant survivors on their path to stability. This program offers assistance with transportation, food security, rental aid, employment, family reunification, and essential household needs.

Access to flexible funding for direct assistance allows our Client Care team to adapt to the unique needs of the people we serve. Often, we see that a small boost of financial support can help our clients overcome barriers to employment or housing and meet urgent basic needs. By providing this direct assistance, we help our clients avoid eviction and gaps in employment, leading to long-term stability and self-sufficiency.

Every donation has a direct impact on the lives of immigrant survivors—please join us in making a difference by giving today!

Invest in GAIN’s Client Care Program

Through our free immigration legal services, Georgia Asylum & Immigration Network (GAIN) protects and empowers immigrant survivors of crime and persecution.

Many GAIN clients face significant challenges during their resettlement process in the U.S. These challenges require culturally-responsive social services, including learning how to access housing, healthcare, education, transportation, and other basic needs.

A primary focus of expansion for GAIN has been to enhance our case management services to better support the communities we serve, adopting a more holistic approach that complements our legal services. We recently launched our Client Care program, which allows us to help clients beyond the complexities of the immigration system, opening up a path to self-sufficiency and broadening the continuity of care for immigrant survivors as they establish new lives here in Georgia.

This work is guided by evidence-based, trauma-informed practices and we continue to leverage the work of our extensive network of community partners.

Below is a list of how your gift could support our clients and their families in different areas:

  1. Job Stability: $350 could help 10 GAIN clients renew their driver's license, helping them keep their jobs to provide for their families.
  2. Transportation: $500 could purchase 10 ride shares for clients who do not have reliable transportation, allowing them to attend their legal appointments.
  3. Food Instability: $1,000 could help 10 client families pay for groceries.
  4. Workforce/Education: $1,000 could provide technology and equipment support for 3 GAIN clients entering the workforce, or pursuing their education.
  5. Support of Basic Household Needs: $1,000 could help 15 client families buy cleaning supplies and small furnishings.
  6. Rental Stability/Assistance: $5,000 could provide rental support for 5 client families.

Your support is needed now more than ever to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve. With your generosity, we can further our vision of safety, freedom, and opportunity for all.
