We started with an online donation goal of $80,000. Then we lowered it to $65,000. Now, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, staff, and viewers who have sent us checks and donated cash, we are able to lower it again to $55,000! And, we're extending our donation period through Sunday, December 1st.
We've worked with more than 100 different non-profit, religious, and fraternal organizations in the DMV to distribute more than 4000 turkeys and sides throughout the area this Thanksgiving. But we still need your help to finish paying off our grocery bill.
$20 buys a turkey and sides that will feed a family, veterans, seniors, and others in need in our community.
All money donated is processed through the Greater Washington Community Foundation and is tax-deductible. 100% is used solely for the purchase of turkeys and vegetables. Please make your secure online credit or debit card donation now.
