Community- and faith-based leaders are the unsung heroes of community change. They are the first to respond to the needs of their communities rallying local members to take action and make a difference. Grassroots, on-the-ground leaders possess a unique ability to connect with those around them introducing new concepts and influencing behaviors. 

By incorporating research into community-based services, programs, and ministries, we gain valuable insights that can help improve programs, measure impact, and attract more funding.

At Healthy Communities Coalition, we understand the importance of community engaged research and equitable revenue sharing. We believe that research should benefit not only the academic institutions and hospitals that conduct it but also the communities that participate in it. That's why we're building a community-hosted collaborative space where researchers and community partners can share, learn, and build together.
