Make an Impact! -Support My Walk this Sept.

I will participating virtually in Team Maggie 5k/10k on September 16th, 2023, likely walking 5k around the neighborhood or doing some sideways running. Chemotherapy has the potential to make patients infertile. To keep Matt and my options for the future open, I quickly underwent egg retrieval in two weeks following my diagnosis and before cancer treatment. In a time when there were so many appointments and new information every day, it felt good to know that this avenue was still open for us. 

Egg retrieval, as I'm sure a lot of you know, is expensive. We received financial support from several places, including Team Maggie's Dream. I am participating in this fundraising challenge so that other cancer patients can have the same future I had the opportunity to preserve. Any amount is welcome!
