Change a Girl's Life Through Girls on the Run

The mission of Girls on the Run Kentuckiana is to inspire elementary and middle school girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running. Through ten weeks of lessons led by trained volunteer coaches, girls gain life skills such as teamwork, conflict resolution, anger management, self-confidence, and the ability to stand up for themselves and others. At the same time, they learn the importance of health and fitness by training for a 5K with their team. Through Girls on the Run, girls learn that they CAN accomplish their goals and that their potential is limitless!
