Acadiana Animal Aid

For 50 years, Acadiana Animal Aid has been a leading organization in rescuing cats and dogs throughout the Acadiana region. We efficiently manage a non-profit budget of $1.5 million, with 85% of our funding coming from fundraising and donations. To date, we have rescued over 25,000 animals that are most at risk in overcrowded and under-resourced municipal shelters. Many of these animals face serious medical conditions or are at risk of euthanasia.

Each animal's story showcases their resilience, the compassion of our team, and our unwavering commitment to our mission. In addition to finding loving homes for these companion animals, we strive to inspire our community through education, volunteer opportunities, foster programs, transportation services, and adoption initiatives.
