The mission of Keep Athens Clarke County Beautiful is to educate and empower citizens and businesses with the resources to take action as environmental stewards of litter prevention, waste reduction, and beautification.

Our Goals:

• To promote beautification efforts in the community.
• To maintain sustained litter reduction. 
• To promote the proper handling of solid waste.
• To enhance environmental awareness through education. 

 Our Objectives:

• Identify and improve areas of general community concern. 
• Increase awareness of each individual’s role in taking care of our community. 
• Promote adequate maintenance of public and private property.
