Most of us remember his or her name as soon as we are asked about it. The reason is because they made you feel smart or special or valued. You can repay that teacher's generosity by paying it forward.
Send a teacher who has been inducted into the National Teachers Hall of Fame (NTHF) to the 25th Anniversary and Reunion in Kansas City, MO., in 2016.
The inductees into the NTHF are teachers who have inspired greatness from their students and have excelled in their careers. The inductees range in age and income levels, but all would like the opportunity to be reunited with their NTHF classmates dating back to 1992.
The money raised benefits the NTHF, and will be used to reimburse the inductees from the 7th Class (1998) for their travel expenses. Help the following teachers travel to the 25th Anniversary and Reunion in 2016:
- A spouse/relative, in memory of George Beyer, Montana
- Dr. Gerard Brooker, Connecticut
- Ross Burkhardt, New York
- Dale Faughn, Kentucky
- Dr. Hector Ibarra, Iowa
Any money raised in excess of travel reimbursement will be deposited into the general fund to further the mission of the NTHF and Fallen Educators Memorial.
