Housing Industry Foundation #GivingTuesday 2017

This holiday our homes take on even greater meaning as we fill them with the decorations, sounds, and smells of the season.  

Did you know there are more than 8,000 homeless people in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties?  HIF is battling this homelessness crisis in Silicon Valley.  

Imagine you are spending the holidays living in your car.  Or imagine, you had to make the impossible choice between covering your family’s medical expenses and paying rent.  This is a reality for many but your gift could make a huge difference for a family.

Because of donors like you, these families have hope for the future.  Families can find an apartment unit through one of our partner agencies, and HIF’s Emergency Housing Fund provides the security deposit, empowering a family to get back on their feet at a crucial time. Without this needed support, they would have fallen deeper into crisis.
