Classroom Technology Fundraiser

$5,000 goal
When the State of Idaho said Charter Schools need to be able to do more with less they were serious! Charter schools are public schools and have to meet all of the same laws and regulations as any other public school for both the State and Federal Governments. However, they are required to do so with far less funding and stricter accountability measures than a regular public school.
This is why we need your help! Our teachers have worked for five years with sub-standard technology in their classrooms and the ones suffering for it are our students. They are receiving an excellent education and it shows in their test scores and attitudes but we can do better! We live in a time when the expectation is that ALL students will have access to technologies that will enable them to be successful in a competitive technological world.
Heritage embraces a diverse student population, with many of our students coming from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds. We serve our wide range of young scholars with great success, however we need more help to facilitate the presence of electronic lessons in the classroom.
We intend to install projector screens, ceiling mounts and wiring for projectors in as many classrooms as possible . This will be a dramatic improvement over the current tangle of wires and poor visibility. If we exceed our goal of $5,000 we will put every dime into improving our classrooms with more advanced technology.
This fundraiser will help us provide access to excellence for all students.
