ACTability!

ACTability! is how Area Stage is choosing to shine a light on actors of ALL abilities this Give Miami Day. Support the Inclusion Theatre Project (ITP) - the stage where neurodivergent actors express themselves through acting, dancing and singing!

ITP is much more than a one-of-a-kind performing arts program for children and adults with developmental disabilities; it is a life changing experience for those whose talents and abilities are overlooked. An ITP parent shares: “The Inclusion Theatre Project has helped my daughter gain confidence, understand discipline, foster friendships, explore her creative talents & has enhanced her love for the arts! For a child who is deaf, has ADHD & has recently been given a heart defibrillator, she lives & breathes to be able to attend her weekly practices!!!”

The growth and development ITP participants experience as they immerse themselves into the world of performing arts is breathtaking and immeasurable. With the generous donations raised from Give Miami Day we will expand this program to include more participants! Together we can take ACTion for all abilities!
