2021 Summer Read-A-Thon

Could it be summer without the CHIME Read-a-thon? Inspire your CHIME student to read all summer long and raise money for the library! Participants will "enroll" in the 2021 CHIME Read-a-thon on Google Classroom and have access to their own document to log minutes, set goals, and track successes throughout the summer! The Read-a-thon goes from June 11-August 15 so LOTS of time to log those minutes and enjoy many good books.

There will be prizes and incentives throughout the summer and at the end INCLUDING prizes for most money raised! You can create your own Mighty Cause page and link it to this fundraiser, or have your donors give directly here. 

Ms. Heidi has done an AMAZING job throughout the pandemic (as have all of the CHIME teachers and staff) keeping access open to books for all of our families. As with other fundraisers, the loss of the in-person Scholastic Book Faire has impacted the funds raised to help the library. Ms. Heidi uses these funds to diversify the books available, replace and/or repair much-loved books, and keep the innovations coming to serve our students. Let's give back AND inspire our kids to read this summer by joining the Read-a-thon!

Donors can pledge per minute, per book, or give a flat amount - whatever works best for your family! And with Mighty Cause as our online partner, donations can be shared from all over the world!
