Help NOVA Women's Rugby get to Nationals!

Northern Virginia Women's Rugby, or NOVA, is a premier women's rugby club located in the greater Washington DC area, committed to elite rugby, player development, and having FUN! We roster two full sides (Division 1 and Division 3), and we have over 80 players registered with our team.

Last weekend, our D1 side qualified for National playoffs by winning the Mid-Atlantic Conference championship game versus Raleigh! See the write up on The Rugby Breakdown website.

Now we are heading to the Regional Finals for the first time in 3 years, with the hope of advancing to the National Championship on June 3 in Denver. The playoff weekend will be held in Pittsburgh on the weekend of May 20-21. To advance, we will need to beat the Midwest and North Atlantic champions over the course of those days; this requires travel to and overnight stay in Pittsburgh.

While we pay dues out of pocket to support our travel costs, a season extended by continuing success can become a financial burden on players and the club. Any donation made to our team to support our playoffs run will go towards player and coach travel costs, team dinners, and essentials such as water, protein, ice, and first aid. If you'd like to support anything in particular (ex. a team dinner), please let us know!
