On February 14th, David Zaas was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia, a life-changing event for him, his family, his friends and his co-workers. He was fortunate to participate in a clinical trial at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he and his wife Aimee completed their residencies. With the support of his family and friends (and donor lymphocyte infusion from his son, Jake), David received treatment and a transplant. And we’re happy to report – HE KICKED CANCER’S zASS.
To celebrate David’s homecoming and birthday, the Zaas family is hosting a party on Saturday, October 14, at 7 pm at their home at 3201 Churchill Road in Raleigh. They are asking each of their guests to make a donation in David’s name to the Holt Brothers Foundation, which supports children who have a parent with cancer.
Join the Zaas family for music, food, and beverages as we toast David and his family at this joyful celebration.
