For over 30 years, we know that our community has looked forward to our annual giant used book sale.  In 2020 we were forced to stop accepting book donations and ultimately had to cancel our annual giant used book sale.  In doing so we had to give up our sorting space and move all our equipment into storage.  

Until we know what the future will hold for additional giant used book sales, our primary fundraising is through your memberships and donations.  We are purely a Loudoun County focused organization and we succeed through your volunteer efforts and your donations.  

The Loudoun Library Foundation has continued to sponsor library based community programs with annual grants between $30,000 and $50,000, based on library requests. We are the primary sponsor of the Summer Reading Program as well as the annual writing program awards and the 1000 books before kindergarten initiative as well as many other programs. Our grants provide for things that the county cannot fund. 

If you can afford it, please consider a contribution above the individual membership of $35.
