"Thank you." Two simple words said to me by a 10 year old girl, squeezing her teddy bear after sharing her account of abuse that no child should ever have to experience. I asked "for what" and her response was "for listening to me".
These words are a reminder of the difference made by this organization. As an employee at Comfort House, I am painfully aware of the abuse that children in our own community are experiencing. The work we do, provides children with the COMFORT of a safe space to talk about the most difficult experiences of their lives.
Your donations will allow us to continue providing children and their families with COMFORT and resources to help navigate this most challenging time.
