AVC Fundraiser for #SupportUkraine by UCCA

Advanced Veterinary Care of San Elijo is raising money for the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America's Humanitarian Aid Fund.  Donations made during this fundraiser will be match up to $2,000.

Over the past several weeks a war has been waged upon the country of Ukraine, leaving a massive humanitarian crisis in its wake.

Many brave Ukrainians are standing up to protest and fight back, and still more are being forced from their home country, fleeing as refugees to save their children and loved ones.   

With this crisis growing by the hour, the need for assistance also grows.   At Advanced Veterinary Care we have decided to call on the generosity of our wonderful family, friends, and clients to help us raise money for Ukrainian aid.

In searching for a charity, we looked for an organization with a long and proven history of assistance.   After research and recommendations, we have chosen the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America as our fundraiser.

The Ukrainian Congress Committee of America is a “non-profit, non-partisan community-based organization that has represented the interests of Ukrainians in the United States since 1940.”  UCCA gives to many worthy Ukrainian funds; however, we have chosen to give our funds to the UCCA’s Humanitarian Effort to “Purchase and Prepare Vital Humanitarian Aid Provisions.”
