Corner of Love is a growing international mission that has been serving Nicaraguans since 1992. Today we care for refugees in Costa Rica and the United States, focusing on the needs of displaced families primarily from Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Cuba. We serve more than 30,000 refugees annually by providing services through our:
- Mobile Medical, Dental, and Optical Clinics
- Refugee Relief Center
- Home Visitation to Vulnerable Families
- Targeted Donations to Exiled People
- Nutrition and Education Programs
More than 700,000 Nicaraguans have poured into Costa Rica over the last six years, weary and burdened with the dangerous situation in Nicaragua. Most who cross the border arrive with little more than the clothes on their backs and their personal story of how they escaped violent repression against the defenseless citizens of Nicaragua.
In response to this migration crisis Corner of Love has established a headquarters close to the Costa Rica-Nicaragua border to provide relief. Every day more refugees arrive from Nicaragua, and some also come from Venezuela, Cuba, Haiti, Angola, and other nations. Help us show Jesus’ love for them and lend a hand to those trying to resettle in Costa Rica.
Each trip participant will volunteer daily to organize supplies and set up Corner of Love’s Relief Center to serve migrant families. All team members will have the opportunity to meet and pray with refugees on their journey. Our group will provide clothing, medicine, towels, blankets, toiletries, and bibles to hundreds during the mission trip.
Your donation brings the loving care of dentists, doctors, and nurses to displaced and impoverished families in Latin America. Every contribution is 100% tax deductible (EIN No. 36-4612230) and goes towards the provision of medicine, food, clothing, shoes, bibles, school supplies, bus fare, hot meals, disaster relief, and more. With your help we serve over 30,000 people each year in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico, Colombia, and Costa Rica, where we operate two Relief Centers for Refugees in La Cruz (Guanacaste) and Curridabat (San Jose).
