Marie Hickey-Kouri's fundraiser for Second Chances

Hello! I'm Marie and I've had the privilege of volunteering at Second Chances Wildlife Center for 4 years now. I also answer the Wildlife Animal Emergency Hotline during baby season. I like to say I help save animals but in reality they've also saved me. I understand more fully, the interconnectedness of all living beings - from the insects to the animals, to the plants and all of living earth. Every link is important and necessary and that's why I'm proud to be a part of preserving our local KY Wildlife. Humans and cars are these Wildlife animals biggest threat so with each animal/baby saved, I truly feel that we are helping to balance the scales. We are only able to do this amazing work because of the donations we receive.
