THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Update posted 2 years ago

Thank you everyone who donated to our local non-profit,  Imagine Ballet Theatre this Giving Tuesday. It means the world to the dancers and staff of the company. Your support goes a long way in helping us have nice costumes, being able to have live music, and even giving out scholarships.

We did not meet our matching grant goal however. Please keep us in mind for next year and tell all your friends and family about Giving Tuesday. It's still a fairly new movement that non-profits need help building up.

Imagine Ballet Theatre was started by a man named Raymond Van Mason. Ray was a principal dancer with Ballet West for his whole career. Dedicated to Utah, the art form of ballet, Ray created a ballet company for young dancers to gain a performing experience at a good price. In order to do this, donations must be met. Ray also started his own ballet school where he could give good prices for classes to train his dancers for the company.  We take donations such as sponsorships for performances, for costumes, for scholarships for kids who are struggling to afford classes, but could benefit greatly from them. We also encourage donations for ballet supplies, such a pointe shoes, which cost about 100 dollars and only last a couple weeks to a month. Cash donations are also accepted. We truly believe that any little bit helps. If you can't help, please share. That helps as well. Please help us make this #GivingTuesday a true meaning to the dancers of IBT.
