Alexis' Sheltering Arms' Story

I absolutely love being an aunt to four amazing kiddos. It brings me so much joy to see how each one is growing into their own person. THEY ARE ALL SO DIFFERENT! I find joy in being "an extra set of hands" during their upbringing.

That's why I believe in the work that Sheltering Arms is doing everyday with 2,500 kids across Atlanta. Every kid has two teachers, center leadership, health supports and so much more to create the future that they dream of. Our job is to take away barriers that might impede each family to meet their own goals. 

Truly, it is a beautiful place to work and I'm glad I get to see how our nonprofit is like an "extra set of hands" for each family.
