Welcome Baby Giving Tuesday 2021

Welcome Baby is a free in-home visitation program that promotes healthy, happy, and supportive new beginnings for families with children aged newborn through thirty-six months.

All families in the program receive monthly in-home visits from a trained volunteer, age-specific development information and parenting tips, a children’s book for every child in the home, new games and parent engagement activities, and a monthly learning kit that focuses on school-readiness. The program is available to all families in Box Elder, Weber, Davis, Summit, and Salt Lake Counties.

• Jessica was a new mom who began her journey into motherhood feeling very overwhelmed by the prosspect of successfully raising her baby to be healthy, educated, and successful in life. 
• She heard about the Welcome Baby Program through a friend and began to recieve monthly in-home visits from a volunteer who was able to provide her with developmental milestone information, tips and tricks for becoming a more educated and engaged parent, and numerous resources that would help her become a more confident provider
• Now, Jessica's baby is a happy, talkative, and engaged 2.5-year-old who is meeting all of their milestones and getting ready for preschool. Jessica feels so much more confident and prepared as a mother and knows that her child will be successful in school and in life.
