Day One has is a multi-faceted organization that includes individual and group outpatient counseling and residential treatment for teens who struggle with mental health and substance abuse.
At the residential facility where I work, the teens stay for 6 months and are provided one-on-one counseling, group counseling, and school. In addition to learning about substance use, they learn and practice daily living skills, decision making skills, and participate in a variety of recreational activities (yoga, acupuncture, basketball, etc.).
Your contribution will be used to give these teens the opportunity to begin learning the necessary skills to overcome their substance use. Please consider donating whatever you can and thank you!
