2020 marks the third year the Young, Black & Giving Back Institute (YBGB) will promote financial giving for black-led and black-benefiting nonprofits on August 28! The current movement for racial justice highlights the importance of investing in the leaders working directly in our communities. Although the giving day takes place on August 28, 2020, giving is live NOW to help participating organizations stay funded during this crucial moment. God'sMorning Foundation saw this as the perfect opportunity to raise awareness and fundraise for our scholarship initiative.

God’sMorning™ Foundation, a black-owned and lead nonprofit organization, was established in 2013 in the memory of Darrell “Kleph Dollaz” Durant, a well known producer, songwriter, engineer and youth counselor with aspirations of redirecting the way that the music industry promotes artist and the impact their music places on our youth. The foundation was created by Kleph’s family to continue his legacy in helping young people strive to make a positive impact within their community. Kleph would post inspirational messages via Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and in closing he would state “God’sMorning.” This movement motivated the family to go beyond stimulating individuals through social media, but to also promote a vehicle that will continue to inspire for a life-time.

August 28th has a significant meaning to the Durant Family -- a day marked by Kleph's passing. Over the next few weeks leading up to and on August 28, we are asking that our supporters donate $28 to the K-Bux scholarship fund in his memory, his legacy, and GMF's continued quest in "changing lives, one child at a time...".
