The Ben Carlson Memorial & Scholarship Foundation was formed to leverage Ben Carlson's legacy through doing positive work in his memory. Taking into consideration the things that truly mattered to Ben, your donations will proudly support the following causes as the BCMSF Board of Advisors decides.

How are the funds you are raising used?

Water Safety       

 - BCF helped created the California Water Safety Strategy

International Lifeguarding       

 -  Agency support in a variety of ways

Junior Lifeguards      

  -  BCF annually supports the NBJL with scholarships. 

Scholarships

  -  Hundreds of thousands of dollars have been awarded to student athletes all over the country, who have at one point in their lives, participated in a junior lifeguard program or have worked as an open water lifeguard. These scholarships are used to help these student athletes pay for Collegiate expenses.
