This year, I am dedicating my page to the incredible women in my life—especially my dear friend, Shannon Berry. Shannon was a bright, shining light, full of love and passion, with a gift for making everyone around her feel seen and valued. She wanted nothing more than to heal, and she fought with everything she had. But in the end, she felt hopeless. Her loss should never have happened. It should not be this hard for someone struggling with addiction and mental health to get the help they desperately need. No one should have to fight alone. I can’t change the past, but together, we can change the future. We can make sure that when someone reaches out for help, it’s there. Will you stand with me to honor Shannon’s life and fight for those still struggling? Your support can be the lifeline someone needs today. - Vickie Poulson
Last year, 29:11 Healing & Recovery Center started the John Schubert Scholarship Fund, honoring John Schubert who lost his life to substance use. This scholarship allows the center to fund expenses associated with substance use treatment, giving every individual a chance at recovery without the worry of financial barriers.
Substance use affects more than just the individual with the disorder; it affects their friends, family, and community. Together, we can make a difference. You can partner with us in creating substance-free communities, restoring relationships, and saving lives!
Every gift helps, and every donation is appreciated. Thank you for your support of 29:11 Healing & Recovery Center!
