The Caroline polar plunge will be February 4th

$170

raised by 6 people

Each year the Ladysmith Ruritan Club runs the Caroline County Polar Bear Plunge. The purpose of the Polar Bear Plunge is to help the participating organizations raise money for their worthy causes. Each year, the Ladysmith Ruritan Club uses its money to help the other organizations help Caroline County. Last year, the money we raised to went to Caroline's Promise, The Caroline County YMCA, Rehoboth United Methodist Church, Wright's Chapel United Methodist Church, Young Life, and a Tail to be Told Rescue. Each of these organizations received $500 from the Ladysmith Ruritan Club for their charitable cause. Polar Bear Plunge money also helped us give a $600 scholarship to a Caroline High School graduate headed to UVA. Funds raised also helped several Caroline County families in need at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated and will help us help those in need in Caroline County.
