Updated Goal of $7,900

Mena Brunette was able to have The Design Center donate a beautiful couch to us, so we've been able to further reduce our costs.  Thank you, Mena!  We are so close.

Our amazing dancers deserve a relaxing space to rest between rehearsals. Their current 16x8 foot cinderblock room in the basement isn't very inviting. In fact, it is so bad The Washington Post did a story on it in 2016: "This dreary dancers’ lounge isn’t the graceful space you’d expect. Enter light and color." It's time for a change. Our own Natalie Khoriaty has a plan (see picture of design) to make it better.

So, the Women's Committee of The Washington Ballet is raising funds to remodel the Dancers' Lounge to make it a comfortable space for our company members. If you've ever wanted to support our dancers, this is the opportunity to help more than 35 of them who use this lounge.

Our goal is 100 % participation from TWC members, in addition to support from others in our Washington Ballet community. If every member of The Women's Committee supports this fundraiser by contributing $66, or is able to raise $66 through your networks, we will be able to have the remodeled space ready to go before the dancers return.

Please take a moment to give, and to share this with others who love our dancers as much as we do.
