Giving Tuesday, A Day for Patients

Join us as we come together to assist patients on this special day of giving. 

When we launched the Patient Assistance Program in November of 2021, we were quickly overwhelmed by the number of requests from individuals needing assistance. It’s hard to imagine how quickly life can change when an unexpected illness interrupts our life.

That happened to 23-year-old Cindy. She had graduated from school and started a job she loved working with animals. Shortly after, she was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Cancer treatment put her dream job on hold. Cindy is also a mom of a young toddler. She was struggling to pay her household expenses, in addition to enrolling her son in a safe and quality daycare program. Your generosity helped Cindy with daycare expenses. 

Since the Patient Assistance Program launched, we have assisted 40 individuals from 14 states experiencing financial difficulties.

Many applicants fall behind in household bills because their illness prevents them from working. Grant recipients have said, “I’ve worked my whole life and never thought I would be in this position.”

Our goal is to help patients focus on treatment and recovery.
