Jo Ann Britt @The Prisoner's Hope

I'm Jo Ann Britt and I came to The Prisoner's Hope about nine years ago. My son was a mentee with Darryll Davis and I started going to "Families of the Incarcerated", which helped me learn how to love him. 

I'm now a mentor and I love seeing how excited the mentees get when they receive birthday cards and letters. It lifts their spirits. We do a lot of work with them before and after they get out of prison. We help them find a place to stay, clothes, food, jobs, and IDs. We also lead them toward Christ and try to get them back into church.
