Hurricane Harvey has had a heavy impact on our non-profit hospices in Texas. Ordinarily our Texas Non-Profit Hospice Alliance member hospices depend on donations to help them continue their legacy of non-profit care, but today these hospices need your help to continue their mission.

The full extent of the damage caused by Hurricane Harvey is still not known, but we know for sure that Houston Hospice,  AIM Hospice in Rockport, and Southeast Texas Hospice in Orange will be heavily impacted. They will have a long and hard recovery.

Houston Hospice has been hit hard, and it will be some time before we know the full extent of the damage there. It will also be some time before we know the total damage sustained by Southeast Texas Hospice in the Orange/Port Arthur area.

AIM Hospice in the coastal town of Rockport took a direct hit when the hurricane came ashore Friday night and has sustained significant damage.

The members of TNPHA are united in the belief that the non-profit hospice model best reflects the caring culture that exists in our Texas communities - where neighbors join together to focus their energies on comprehensive and compassionate care for their patients and their families.  That caring culture was seen throughout the ordeal that was Hurricane Harvey.  Please help us help those who care for your communities when the tragedy is on a more personal level.
