River Mist Recovery 2022

River Mist serves children 1-5 years old with high quality early care and education. River Mist is seeking to raise $25,000 for operations support and Covid recovery. River Mist operated through the pandemic and credited parents' tuition for all closures between 2020-2022. We also paid all staff full wages even during closure periods. In spite of receiving some aid through PPP and the state of CO, our emergency fund was depleted. We also experienced periods of time when we could not achieve full enrollment. River Mist is seeking to fund raise to replace our emergency fund and support daily operations until our enrollment stabilizes. Our school has existed in rural Durango since 1985 and has operated fully as a nonprofit since 2016. We appreciate your support in making sure that our unique and worthy programs are around for years to come!
