What would you do if you were homeless and broke and your eyeglasses broke? What if your new job uniform required a new pair of black slacks? How would you get a bus ticket to reunite with a family member on a limited income the next state over? Where would you go for help if your prescription ran out on the weekend and your insurance paperwork wasn't yet complete?

When you donate to The Haven, you are meeting these vital needs of your neighbors experiencing homelessness. Each month, $500.00 of your donations are set aside in a discretionary fund. When a guest approaches a volunteer or staff with a specific need, we vet the request and explore resource options. 

Often, we are the only option, and because of your gifts, we are able to meet many of these critical needs.

On November 27th, Giving Tuesday, a generous donor has agreed to match all donations dollar-for-dollar up to $3000.00. So when you contribute, you are helping to meet the specific and often critical needs of homeless guests for a full year.
