Miami is a poem we write together. 

One of the many things I love about O, Miami is that it gives young people - including my two young sons - a chance to feel connected and show some love for the 305. 

From Hialeah to Homestead, Kendall to Carol City - all voices are welcome and celebrated. 

Your support is critical to O, Miami's mission of lifting up the many voices of Miami.

Here is just a small picture of what they're doing for kids in our communities:

• Taught poetry to more than 500 kids in 10 different Miami schools in need of writing instruction

• Produced a summer apprenticeship program for 15 young Miami artists, providing project support, mentorship, and professional development skills.
  
  

• Led a week-long summer seminar for 100 teachers grades K-Community College interested in incorporating more poetry into their classroom practice in partnership with the Poetry Foundation.
