Team Kyrie

My parents both had Hospice services before and after their final transitions.  I am eternally grateful to the miracle workers who made things happen, the compassion and empathy they showed, and the comfort our loved ones felt with their support.  Grief is not linear and the bereavement services so freely offered were critical for our family to move forward.  I am grateful and blessed to have the opportunity to pay it back while being on the water doing something I love.

In addition, I've been privileged to work and volunteer with Brendan Sailing, a program that gives the gift of self-confidence to youth with Learning Differences through learning to sail.   These youth not only build life and social skills, they gain an avocation they can participate in for the rest of their lives.   It is important to the sustainment of  the sport of sailing that youth have the opportunity to participate and promote access to sailing in an inviting and inclusive environment.   I am proud to sail with some Brendan Sailing alumni youth as crew!
