Molly Otto - Thrive by 5 Giving Day

Early education is such an important part of a functioning society, more and more evidence shows that starting learning before Kindergarten is essential to success throughout one's entire life. Preschool education helps young ones develop emotional, social and personal growth and development. Education is a right to all, yet access to pre-school is not an option for all families, as the cost can be much more than many household budgets can support. The need for free preschool for all is apparent and the community of Monroe county is the perfect place to set an example for other communities by rallying behind our youngest to give them the tools of early education to keep our community thriving. 

About the Thrive by  Five Campaign:
Funding will be used to increase access to high-quality education for at-risk children and low-income families, improve quality of programs, cultivate family engagement and community partnerships, develop training opportunities for educators, and provide required community matching funds for On My Way Pre-K students.
