Jim Laughlin - Thrive by 5 Giving Day

None of us would like it if we signed up for a race and had to start out significantly behind the other runners, knowing we had little or no chance of catching up or winning. This is the situation for our most vulnerable children.  The “Thrive to Five” endowment campaign will provide sustainable funding to improve the quality of our communities preschool programs and provide scholarships to allow these children be at the starting line as they enter school. All studies have shown significantly higher high school  and college graduation rates and community economic benefit in communities that have quality preschool programs. About the Thrive by  Five Campaign:
Funding will be used to increase access to high-quality education for at-risk children and low-income families, improve quality of programs, cultivate family engagement and community partnerships, develop training opportunities for educators, and provide required community matching funds for On My Way Pre-K students.
