Mission
Our mission is to fight against police brutality and to support our extended families -- who, while not related by blood, are bonded to us through the needless bloodshed of our loved ones.
Ohio Families Unite Against Police Brutality has received a Community Organizing Grant from the Peace Development Fund and all of the money raised from this fundraiser will be added to that grant to help support their organizing in 2022.

Your support helps to fund our upcoming organizing plans which include engaging in statewide efforts to end qualified immunity; engaging in statewide advocacy networks to build internal capacity and support other grassroots and community-based efforts to effect systemic change; and engaging impacted families in a statewide educational campaign on current police reform initiatives to advocate for legislation designed to increase police accountability and end police brutality.
Can you share a story of one of the leaders in your organization and how they’ve made a difference in their community?
"One of the fabulous women in our organization is Tania Hudson, and the reason I am choosing to write about her is she is one of the strongest women I know. I have so much respect for her, and how she manages her pain. Tania lost two sons, one from street violence, and another through police terror. Tania lost a grandchild from a drunk driver that ran her grandchild over, and just recently lost her fiance from covid. Tania goes into the schools a couple of hours a day to help children who have been affected by some time of trauma. Whenever Tania hears news about a killing she finds out information on the families, and takes them food, supplies, and comfort them. What can I say other than she's amazing, and she is my sister in the movement, and I am blessed to have her in my life." - Sabrina Jordan, Ohio Families Unite Against Police Brutality
