Hurricane Helene caused devastating damage to Boone, NC, with historic flooding and widespread destruction. Homes were flooded, cars were stranded across town, and many roads became impassable. Power outages affected thousands, while the town issued a boil water advisory due to compromised water systems. Emergency shelters were set up to aid displaced residents, and the community faces a long recovery. Relief efforts have been organized to clear debris and restore essential services, but the extent of the destruction has left Boone in a challenging position (NC DPS).

SOL Nation was contacted by a dear friend, Pastor Reggie Hunt of Cornerstone Summit Church to help create a Hub where residence can receive aid and relief supplies to help ease the devastation of losing their homes. Support SOL Nation and the northwestern communities by donating today, as we continue our efforts to provide solace for those who lost everything.
