ARIEL Pandemic-Proof Fundraiser #SailOnWithARIEL

ARIEL Theatrical is so much more than a community theatre. It is a place where young people learn the importance of practicing Accountability, Respect, Integrity, Excellence and Leadership. It is a place where kids can be creative, learn life skills, build friendships and develop talents, all while experiencing the excitement of live performance. It is a place that can be "life changing" and supports children in their efforts, as one young participant noted, "to become the best person I can possibly be." 

In 2021 ARIEL will achieve two significant milestones  – 20 yea2019 Disney's High School Musicalrs in The Karen Wilson Children's Theatre on Main Street, and 35 years of annual outreach performances at Sherwood Hall. When considering the thousands of young people who have participated on stage and the hundreds of thousands who have cheered from the audience, it is no wonder that we are determined to celebrate these achievements in 2021.

But how do we sail through a sea of cancelled classes, rehearsals and performances? Daydreaming about a return to pre-pandemic conditions won’t enable us to power through the relentless waves of operating expenses that continue to assault our ship. Without the relief that program income would normally provide, we are facing challenges that we cannot conquer alone. ARIEL needs all hands on deck! We absolutely refuse to abandon ship as we’ve got a lot more sailing to do. Together, we can survive rough seas, doldrums, and everything in between. Together, we can do hard things.

Your gift to ARIEL will support our operating expenses, our Pandemic-proof Performance Preparation Programs (online theatre workshops), and will keep us moving forward toward a future of theatre education, performance and outreach. On the horizon is a return to normal life.
