The bottle babies are just exploring "real" food
Spicy (and sisters) update -
All of them are doing really well. They are starting to make the transition to "real" food which will make them "self-serve" kittens!
I have to give a HUGE shout out to the 3 generations of women (Hadil, her mother and her daughter) who have given intensive nursing to these babies. They would not have survived without it.
I also need to give a huge thanks to those of you who jumped on the donations so quickly and allowed us to provide the appropriate (and necessary) level of vet care. Many, many kittens don't have that level of support because the rescues can't fund it.
So, thank you, thank you, thank you!!
"Spicey" and his 3 bottle-baby siblings were saved from euthanasia at a local shelter three days ago. After 3 days of eating well, suddenly he got sick last night. He was seen at the local emergency/specialty vet clinic late last night and his symptoms treated. He's doing better, but still not eating. Now he needs some diagnostic work. His rescue is overwhelmed with kittens and can't provide extra vet care for him. We'd like to step in to help. Would you help us to help him?
