The Barking Bridge Project is a an all volunteer 501(c) 3 animal welfare organization organization devoted to improving the lives and eliminating suffering for companion animals in Southern Missouri through low cost alteration options, community-based education and to providing a blueprint to guide other rural communities in the same pursuit.
We have recently been very fortunate to partner with a veterinarian in the area that we serve who will be able to allow us to offer spay/neuter, de-wormers, and 3 months of flea and tick preventative for a cost of $50 to the participants that we serve. The total cost of the service is $100 for the package. Our organization may also bear the full cost in certain situations as needed. For those who may be familiar with the costs of the services, that is a huge savings and incredibly generous offer from our local vet partner. This can cost a pet owner over $160 for this package, saving them over $100 for these services! This also allows us to pursue one of our core values - offering low cost spay and neuter services to an area that sees a lot of preventable pet overpopulation. Out first goal is for 50 animals, at a total cost of $2,500 to us. Our goal is set for $5,000 so we can continue to support this program into the fall. Your support helps us to ensure that we are able to provide the funds to this local vet clinic to continue these services.
Your generous donation helps us transport animals to rescue organizations, provide low-cost alterations and medical resources, as well as educate our community pet owners in rural towns in Missouri.
We thank you for your support of The Barking Bridge Project. Without your contributions, we would be unable to provide support and services to these undeserved areas of rural Missouri.
Stay safe my friends!!
