Claire Simonds - Team Israel

Playing for Israel gives me the opportunity to show the rest of the world how strong our country is, and it provides a platform to empower the women of Israel. It has brought me closer to my religion and connected me to some of the most interesting, caring, passionate people I have ever met. I am extremely proud to be able to play for and represent a country that I love so much.

My connection to Israel and Judaism has grown tremendously since my involvement with Israel lacrosse. I have become extremely proud of my religion. Being able to visit Israel gave Judaism a completely new definition to me and allowed me to connect with my religion.
