El Mirador 2019 - Shalmai Rivera

I am excited to announce that I am raising funds to attend my second mission trip. I am joining Harbor of Hope again this year to go to the community of El Mirador, Dominican Republic. The relationships I made last year with the community members and children of El Mirador are ones I cherish to this day. In the short amount of time we were living with the community, I could see the impact that Food for the Hungry and Harbor of Hope are having, from helping to bring clean drinking water to building the foundation for a community pharmacy giving access to basic medical supplies and medication to those living in El Mirador.
