Your donation supports restoration efforts at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, severely impacted by the 2018 Carr Fire, the 7th most largest and destructive in California's history.   Restoration is focused on trails, trees and fuels reduction.

In 2018, California was devastated by a series, the largest and most destructive wildfires in the state's history.  As part of ART from the ashes (AFTA) mission to be part of the long-term recovery and resilience efforts to communities impacted by wildfire, AFTA engaged with communities in Northern CA to develop, Seeds of Regrowth.

This creative platform intersects art, community and ecology.  For Seeds of Regrowth, ART from the ashes entered into a Partnership Agreement with The National Park Service at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area to collaborate together to support wildfire recover efforts as a result of the Carr Fire with Seeds of Regrowth programming that will run though the end of 2020.

The Fall of 2019 programming will include a large scale art exhibition and special event programs.  Proceeds and donations will support restoration efforts at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area.
