Can you remember your school days?
When we were young, often forgetful, and still figuring out who we were.
Perhaps you were thinking about becoming a football player, teacher, or even a doctor.
You may have attended a public school or a private school.
Tuition may have been paid by the city or from scholarships, but it is not the same in Haiti…
Here are some facts:
Almost all schools in Haiti are privately run which means that tuition is not free, which can be a barrier for parents or guardians.
For poor families, high costs of schooling can be a challenge. In these cases, they only send their child to school during months or years when they can afford it. As a result, several children lose years of schooling and are too old for their grade level when they return.

Here is how Dare Humanity makes a change for students in rural communities and Port au Prince:
Contributions from supporters like you cover the tuition of 24 students which alleviates the stress of parents who cannot afford to send their child to school.
We cultivate the opportunity for an enhanced life for youth as they develop to become leaders of their communities.
Contributions also support the Institution Mixte St-Joseph de Lanzac that utilizes the tuition we pay to keep the doors of the school open.
Today, you can be part of the solution.
The average cost of tuition for one student for a year is $180. That’s all it takes for one student to be able to have a better future through education.
We invite you to meet our new sponsored students and show your support today!
