Time is Almost Up For Tanner

Tanner is a very handsome 8 month old beagle mix. This precious boy is lucky to be alive. Tanner was found as a stray in rural VA. He spending his days scrounging for food and desperate for water, and his nights were terrifying as he never knew where a safe place to sleep would be. Tanner is still a puppy and needs a warm loving home, not to figure out life as a homeless dog. Thankfully, Tanner was found and brought to a shelter. While Tanner is happy to be off the streets, his future is still very uncertain. The shelter can only keep dogs for so long before they need to make room for other incoming dogs. It would break all of our hearts if the shelter had to make a tough decision on Tanner's life. Homeward Trails can't let this sweet pup end up on a euthanasia list.
