Dumped and Left Behind

Henry is an adorable 8 month old Beagle mix who has had a very sad life so far. This precious boy was dumped in rural VA, and left behind as his owners drove away. Fighting for his life, Henry did everything he could to survive. Sadly though, life for a stray dog is very difficult and poor Henry was wasting away as food and water were scarce. Thankfully, Henry was found before he succumbed to starvation and brought to a rural shelter. While Henry now gets regular meals, he deserves so much more than a cold cement run to live his life in. Homeward Trails knows that Henry has a wonderful life ahead of him, but not without saving him from the shelter.
