STLHELP was there to see her huge smile when 18 month old Ann put weight on her legs for the first time. At 18 months, Ann was not yet walking. Born with special needs, Ann required a specialized walker to help her learn to be mobile. Help STLHELP help parents of children with disabilities through GIVE STLDAY.
Children grow, children grow fast! Fortunately their parents donate their children with special needs' lightly used, but very expensive, specialized equipment to the St. Louis Health Equipment Lending Program (STLHELP) to GIVE AWAY TO CHILDREN WHO NEED THEM.

PARENTS NEED HELP
Parents of children with conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Spina Bifida, are not immune to insurance delays, denials and unworkable provisions.
"It took more than six months to get the wheelchair we ordered for our child," said a STLHELP mom. "When it arrived, he had already outgrown it! Insurance told us that they would not pay for this unreturnable, custom chair. Thank God St. Louis HELP had one that would work for him."
Children with special needs require wheelchairs and other equipment to sit with family for dinner, to attend school, to participate in life.
We need your help. Help us provide this equipment in one location, convenient to local families. Help us reuse this equipment that often costs more than $3000 per item, and keep them out of landfills and into the homes of children who need them.
