Update posted 2 years ago

All donations for Giving Tuesday will be matched by two generous donors!  This will essentially triple your donation!!!  ($50 donation = $150 to the Park)

The park was created to fill a void. People and their dogs have moved from the farm do to the suburbs. They have moved from large yards to small yards, zero lot lines, apartments and condos. Consequently, dogs are unable to exercise. To run. They have become overweight with subsequent secondary health issues such as diabetes. In 2014 Dr Hal Ott, a veterinarian, purchased 6 acres in Ruskin, Florida and turned it into a not for profit 501 (c) 3 dog park.
It provides the space necessary for dogs and people to enjoy the outdoors in a peaceful shaded environment. A 1/4 mile walking jogging path is enjoyed by many.
The park is open 52 weeks a year Thursday - Sunday, sunrise to sunset.
And the park is absolutely free to the entire public. It receives no government subsidy. It is entirely supported through donations. Your help is greatly needed and very much appreciated.
